Hello, I’m Kev!
Welcome to the channel. I enjoy doing restorations, rebuilds and working with my hands. I like to take an old, vintage, antique that is rusty (tools or toys) and make it look new and bring it back to life. I do projects with my dad and brother. It’s amazing what you can restore if you just put some thought, effort and time into it! Thanks for stopping by the restoration channel and have a great day!

1950s Structo Concrete Truck Restoration
Structo Ready Mix Concrete Truck
I bought this Structo Ready Mix Concrete Truck off of Facebook Marketplace for around $20 for the purpose of restoring it and making a restoration video. I went with a different color than the original paint due to the ugly burnt orange/brown. The custom decals on the doors is because this is a gift for someone. I think the truck turned out pretty, but what do you think?
As seen in the restoration video I dismantled the truck and had to sandblast most of the parts due to the rusty condition. For the hard to reach areas with the sand blaster, I soaked the parts in Evapo-rust. The Evapo-rust works well. I used JB Weld as a body filler, which will also withsta...

Rare 1954 Traveloader Restoration- Nylint (Adams)
Просмотров 422 тыс.3 месяца назад
I bought this antique (1954?) Nylint #1800 Traveloader along with several other toys from a yard sale for $30, and I thought it would make a neat restoration video. This seems to be a kind of rare toy. There were 3 different models made, and this one appears to be the 2nd version. As you could see in the video, it was very rusted and pitted. After dismantling, sandblasting, and cleaning up the ...
Busted Vise Restoration

Welcome to my restoration channel! In this restoration video I purchased some old machines vises at scrap price. I bought 4 vises for around $30 USD. This vise is a “Brown 6 2”. It was in pretty rough shape. It was busted, cracked, and had a bunch of holes, besides all of the rust. I think this turned out to be a great vise restoration. THE RESTORATION PROCESS I dismantled the vise then used a ...

Welcome to my restoration channel! This is a restoration video of an Alemite Lubricator (small hand pump grease gun). In 1918, they formed the Alemite Lubrication Company, and although I’m not exactly sure the year this one was made, it is still pretty old. It belonged to my grandfather, and I am glad to have it restored and in my shop. It made for a neat restoration video. Thanks for the view....

The person I bought it from said it had a slow leak. Let me know if you like this jack restoration! THE RESTORATION PROCESS After getting this jack into the shop, I dismantled it and began cleaning the parts. After tearin...
Milwaukee M12 with Bad Motor Restoration / Rebuild
Просмотров 135 тыс.Год назад
Welcome to my restoration channel. This is a restoration of Milwaukee M12 Impact. I was at a local auction and picked this set up for around $30 USD. As seen or heard in the video, the impact was making a weird growling noise, so this lead to me replacing the motor. This is probably the newest tool that I restored/rebuilt. Would you pay $30 for this kit or pass it up? Let me know. THE RESTORATI...

What type of filler do you use that can be Powdercoated over?
Beautiful restoration. How anyone is able to do mechanical work, especially detail work like this always baffles me.

𝑶𝑼𝑻𝑺𝑻𝑨𝑵𝑫𝑰𝑵𝑮! That is far and away the most involved Tonka/Buddy L/Structo/Nylint toy restoration I have ever seen! I can't imagine how daunting it must have been with so, so many pieces. What an absolutely 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘣 restoration. That's more than a toy; with all its moving parts and gasketed gearbox, it is a ma-CHEEN. Whatever kid had this, he was the King of the Hill. No question.
Thanks much! Yes this was a unique toy and would have been a fun one for sure! Thanks for the support!
Great work! John 3vs16 So happy to see! 🙂 🙂 🙂

I have a pre 1924 Allyne-Zerk Co. grease gun. In 1924, the Allyne-Zerk Company of Cleveland, Ohio was purchased by Alemite, and the Zerk line of lubrication fittings and hand grease guns was added to the Alemite line.

Hey! I bought this truck off of Facebook Marketplace for $20. Do you think it was worth it? I made it a bit custom as you can see with the decals as it is a gift for someone. Thanks so much for watching and I hope you all have a great day! Blessings, Kev
I wonder how old those dirt dauber nest were?
That would be interesting!
How big is your air compressor with the sand blaster?
Great work as always and thank you for the video and teaching us as always it is a pleasure to watch you work !!👍👍👍
Thanks kindly! I appreciate it! Have a great week!
Wow, outstanding restore!
Thank you very much!
Lovely work! I honestly expected to see a scale size truck lift or jack with stands. Regardless, it appears you did not miss any detail and you worked around minor snags.
Thanks much! I appreciate it!
Nice work... Thumbs Up!
Many thanks!
Sad to see someone putting that much time into a ratched that original came in a black oxide finish for industral use.
It looks nice and I still have it!
Hello from Cape Town South Africa ! great restoration !
Greetings! It would be cool to visit there! Thanks for watching and have a great week!
Awesome!
Glad you think so! Thanks for the support!
great ❤
Thank you very much! Have a great day!
Beautiful job but wondering why you used triang colours rather than the original copper bronze it appeared to have once been.🤔
I didn’t love the color before. And the new owner is happy with it!
@@RebuiltRestored ahhh, fair enough 👌
I appreciate your extensive effort on restoring the concrete mixer truck toy. However you missed to show the details of the stickers/decals and red handle of the crank. Since your channel name includes "Rebuilt", did you recreate it or purchased it?. If you recreate it, i wish you did show how it was done. And if you purchased it, i wish you include some side notes too. Hope to see improvements on your next restoration video.
Thanks for the comment! I wrote in my description that I used a Cricut vinyl cutter to make the logo. Have a great week!! 👍

Awesome work sir
Thanks a lot! I appreciate it! Have an awesome week!
This was so cool to watch! What kind of media do you use in your sandblasting cabinet? I’m trying to get my own little restoration operation going and I was curious if one type of media was better for the lighter metal or if iron oxide was what you used.
Fun watching. Great filming. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching and for the feedback!
